Joinery

I like to work with timber using traditional joinery techniques, when I have time. I am a beginner, but receive guidance from experienced chaps at the local blokes and dames shed that I am a part of. I have built up a set of hand tools that a traditional bench joiner would have used, and I sharpen and wax them continuously. I absolutely loved shop class as a young school student, and spent quite a bit of time in the workshop when I was studying architecture. Now it is a pleasurable hobby that I can indulge in, and a skill I can try to master over my lifetime.
